Its a feel better set that is supah cute. I also paper pieced the main image with some SEI "Oasis" patterned paper. Accessories are PTI ribbon and SU brads. Anywho that is all for today. Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #22

Yay! It's Friday my favorite day of the week. To make this day even sweeter I have another sample using Taylor's cupcake challenge. I really love all her sketches because they make me think outside of the box. This card was made with some super yummy cupcakes from Unity Stamp Company. This is one of the sets that was released on Wednesday. I colored the cupcakes in with my Copics and added CE again along with Dazzling Diamond glitter. The awning was created using a Fiskers punch. I bought it at Mike's at 50% off! Whoot :) The paper is from SEI "Jolee Chocolat" collection. That paper is so elegant and beautiful! Other accessories used are nestie die-cuts, PTI ribbon, SU brad, and 3d glue dots. So if you want to play along in this week's Cupcake Challenge here are all the details you need to know.1.You're not required to use cupcakes for the challenge, but if you got 'em why not use 'em!? :)

Candy Shoppe Thursday

How about another Unity Stamps Company card?!! Did anyone attend the release party last night? It was loads of fun and moving at a head spinning rate too. I had trouble keeping up but had a great time. I showcased this card in the release. It was made with the new "Delectable Delights" set. Isn't it yummy? I wanted to create the swirly flavored lollipops you see at the candy shoppe so I combined different colors with my Copics. To give it an even more realistic look I added some crystal effects. (One of my favorite products!) Again I used Papertrey card stock. I can't stop using those colors. They are so perfect for summer. The patterned paper is from DCWV "Glitter Pack". The ribbon is PTI and the brads are SU. Well that is all for today. Make sure to stop by the Unity website to view all the new sets! The prices are AMAZING just like the stamps.
Until next time...

Unity Stamp Company Release Day!

It's Wednesday and the day of the Unity releases!! I am so excited to show you my sneak peeks. I will be showcasing two sets called "Tiny Trinity" and "Delectable Delights". The first card was made with the "Delectable Delights" set. This set has some super yummy images to play with. I picked the Popsicle for this card. I colored it in with my Copics and added some crystal effects along with some clear beads to it. It looks so real in person! The patterned paper is some Imaginisce "A Shore Thing" which matches this image perfectly. The color combo has become my favorite for this summer. There is something very refreshing about pink and green together. Both are from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment was stamped and then cut out using my Stampin Up window punch. To complete the card I added some PTI ribbon and SU brads. The second card was made with the "Tiny Trinity" set. This set features some whimsical trees with awesome sentiments. This tree is my favorite of the bunch. I colored it in with my Copics and also added some crystal effects to a few of the leaves. The sketch is from this week's SCS challenge. The paper is again from SEI's "Oasis" collection. (I told you I love that stuff!) The card base is a 4.25 square. To complete this card I added some SU eyelets with my Crop-a-dile and tied some PTI Moss ribbon to them. This card was so quick and easy to make. I really like how it turned out :) Anywho that is all I have for today on my blog but I do have a few more cards that I will reveal at the Unity Party. Remember that it will be held at the SCS Member forum from 8-10 central. You won't want to miss seeing all 11 new sets and all the giveaways!

Also don't forget to check out all the other Unity DT blogs for more yummy eye candy. The names and links are located on my sidebar.

TCP Tuesday

It's Tuesday which means another TCP challenge! Today's Hipster Hostess with the Mostess is Leigh. Leigh has an awesome color challenge for us today. I really love these colors together so coming up with this card was easy peasy. I picked Poochie from the set "It's A Mod, Mod World". I combined it with some perfect patterned paper from DCWV "Pet Stack." I decided I wanted to use a few of the sentiments that were on the paper so I cut two out and matted them with card stock. I placed one on 3d glue dots and added a dew drop trail on the other. The ribbon is from Stampin Up. Also used are my circular and scalloped nesties. Poochie is embossed with black powder. So if you want to participate in the challenge here is everything you need to know.

Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #21

Happy Friday!! Are you guys ready for another amazing Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge? I hope you are because Taylor has come up with another fun sketch. I combined it with my new Pink Cat Studio stamps called "Party Animals". I love this set of stamps. They are so cute and whimsical. It also helps that most are holding little yummy cupcakes :) Mrs. Quack was colored in with my Copics and her cupcake was highlighted with crystal effects and SU Dazzling Diamond glitter. I used my SU corner rounder and slit punch in this card also. The card stock is Papertrey Ink Lavender along with Berry Sorbet paper and ribbon. To create the circles I used my nesties in large and petite. (I love those things) The patterned paper is from DCWV Glitter Pack. So if you want to participate in the challenge here is all you need to know.

1.You're not required to use cupcakes for the challenge, but if you got 'em why not use 'em!? :)

Java House

Hi all! So last night I couldn't fall asleep so I stayed up long enough to see the new SCS sketch challenge and even finished it before bed. I really wanted to use my new Lattebella so I turned the sketch around and came up with this. I combined it with my new SEI "Oasis" patterned paper. (I LOVE THIS PAPER!!!) I colored in the bella with my Copics and used my SU photo corner and window punch for some added details. I stamped the sentiment on some color copper and blue pp. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things "Essential Sentiments". To complete the card I used some dew drops going down in a line. I really love the subtle and clean look dew drops add to any card. Anywho, that is all I have for today but I got some new Rachelle Anne Miller and Pink Cat Studio stamps in the mail today. I am so going to ink those up tonight. Until then.

Happy Occasions

Hi all! Hope you had a great Father's Day weekend. Ours was nice we went and saw Kung Fu Panda with DS and DH. Josh (his first movie theater experience) actually sat through the whole thing. He did start to get restless towards the end but all in all he had a great time. Anywho, I didn't have too much time to stamp this weekend but I do have these two cards that I made featuring this month's My Favorite Things new releases. These cards were made using the set "Congrats All Around." The first one is a quick and simple wedding card. I used the super yummy card stock and embellishments from the SEI "Jolee Chocolat" collection. I embossed the rings with silver powder and added some crystal effects to the diamond. To balance the card I added some light pink dew drops the the side. The second card is a "new car" celebration card. I used my cute little charm I picked up from Mike's. They are from Karen Foster. The car was colored in with Copics and some crystal effects was added on the tires. I also used my circular nesties to frame the card. The ribbon is SU and the patterned paper is Crate Paper. That's all for today but I plan to get some new cards done for tomorrow.

Unity Stamps Co. Wednesday

Hi All!! Today I have a quick post. I have to run to the post office and DS has swimming lessons. So I have another Unity Stamps Company card to share. Since Father's Day is around the corner I wanted to create another masculine card featuring the "Right on Target" set. I also used today's SCS Sketch challenge. I wanted to go clean and simple. The patterned paper is some new awesome SEI "Oasis" card stock I picked up at Mike's yesterday. Love that stuff so watch out for more projects using it. I also combined it with this week's SCS sketch challenge. The fish on the hook was made with Kraft card stock that was cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing folder. I stamped the fish with SU Real Rust ink and then cut it out. I added a copper eyelet so that I could run the hook through it. To complete the card I tied some SU ribbon, copper cord, and SU brads. That's all for today. Gotta run :)

It's Tuesday which means it's time for another TCP Challenge. This week's Hipster Hostess with the Mostess is Leigh. She has a super fun sketch for us to play with. I colored in the town with my Copics and tied some twill with a hardware piece on the lower part of the panel. MFT Monday

Good afternoon everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. It was SUPER hot down here so we tried to stay indoors were the cold AC was on. Anyhoo today I have a card that features Cindy's super fabulous MFT sketch challenge. I went with the MFT "Punny Farm" set because I wanted to use these cute Karen Foster charms I bought on sale at Mike's the other day. I hung the milk bucket charm from some yummy double stitched PTI ribbon. The sentiment is from MFT's "Sassy Sayings" set. I frame the farmer girl with my new long oval nesties. I am so loving these! I colored her in with my Copics and added some crystal effects to her buckets. To complete the card I did some paper piercing, faux stitching, and added some pink dew drops. If you want to participate in the MFT sketch challenge and you are uploading to SCS make sure to add MFTSC34 as a key word so we can check them out!

MFTeaser Release Day

Only a few more hours until all these fabulous new sets go live!! I am so excited about today's cocktail party. There is so much going on! One of the surprises is that MFT is coming out with a brand spankin' new line called My Favorite Things Presents! This new line is going to feature new artist and designers. The first artist is Annie LaPoint. My Favorite Things original brand will continue to be drawn by the irreplaceable Christy Beckwith, whose style has so completely captured our hearts. So that means that we get to enjoy our awesome original MFT designs along with new images from the new line every month!! I can't wait to see all the fabulous things ahead of My Favorite Things. The first card features the "Take a Break" image. Its such a whimiscal floral tub stamp. It just reminds me of a Bed & Breakfast. I tried to go with soft colors. I picked PTI's Spring Moss and Sweet Blush along with Memory Box "Sugar" patterned paper. The sketch is this weeks SCS Sketch challenge. The second card is features another beautiful image called "Chamomile". I wanted to go with an aged Terracotta look. For the perfect accent I choose patterned paper from the Basic Grey "Infuse" collection. I drew my colors from the papers and colored the image in with my Copics. I added some platinum stickles to the fleur-de-lis. The sketch is Cindy's new MFT Monday challenge. Thanks Cindy! Anyhoo that's it for today but I do have some more cards to share using the new releases. I will show them at tonight's cocktail party. See you there!

My Favorite Things is having a New Release Cocktail Party on Wednesday, June 4 from 9-11 p.m. Eastern time.
